Our Way
The journey to womanhood comes with many opportunities that shape our perspective: each event happening births a new part of us. Using real-life experiences from being single in New York City to managing a marriage, a toddler and entrepreneurship, Momma Magnolia seeks to serve as a transparent space of discovery, freedom and healing for the womb-man.
Our View
The magnolia is a representation beauty, joy, endurance, purity, and health. It’s soft and subtle color yet strong appearance symbolizes nobility, perseverance, and love of nature. The beauty of the flower encompasses both femininity and gentleness.
Our Role
A Doula (pronounced doo-lah) is a trained professional that serves as a supporting and grounding anchor to the birthing mom during pregnancy, birth, and shortly after during postpartum. A doula can support a newly expectant mom, a reoccurring birthing body for: a natural water birth, a planned medicated birth, or cesarean birth to help curate the best birthing environment for birthing family.
Our Photography
There are a lot of moving parts in a creating the artist photography. We ensure that our team is there to assist with communicating effectively for cohesion in your session. There are a lot of necessary pros used for the session. We have clothing and props to ensure the best experience for our clients.

During your meeting times your plans will be discussed in detail, and any questions will be answered in preparation for your labor and birth. Once in labor, she will join you for your birth and support you and your partner throughout The process.

Arialle is a certified holistic doula through Set Apart Doula Collective and has been trained in postpartum doula care through National Black Doula Association. Known as a “baby whisperer”

Maternity Session
It all begins with the goal with your session. We have several maternity dresses you could use or you could use regular gowns. We can transform the dress into your favorite princess or as simple as the girl next door. Each session is tailored to our clients needs during their process to motherhood.

Labor Session
Labor can happen for hours but our photographers are trained to respect and tell your story. From video to photography we have you covered so that you don’t miss a moment while living in the moment. Yes, we want active partners so your partner can live in the moment with you. Allow us to capture the birth of your new chapter.

New Born Session
It is important to book the newborn sessions within the first 17 days of the Birth. After the 17th day most little ones will become more aware. A lot of our poses and props work best for New Borns that are in the first 17 days of birth. We can work with New Borns after those days, however the props will vary.

Sitting Baby Session
Sitting baby sessions are for babies that are 6 months - 11 months. During these sessions the little one is sitting on our props for amazing creative shots. After booking you will have the option to pick from 3 different themes for your baby. BABIES MUST SIT UP ON THEIR OWN.

One Year Old Photos
Our year photo sessions come with a ballon set and a small cake from one of our vendors. The cake is use in our smashing session to celebrate the little ones birthday. Colors of the cake and background session will be discussed after the booking of the session.

2-5 year Old Session
These sessions can happen within our two studios where we have paper backgrounds or our elegant canvas photo backgrounds. We also can shoot these sessions outside as well. After booking we will discuss the theme and goal for your session.
Women/Birthing bodies that had a doula:
· Are much less likely to have a c-section (if not previously desired)
· Are much less likely to ask for pain medication or need medication to augment labor (such as Pitocin)
· Are much less likely to report a negative birth experience
· Reduction in interventions which led directly to shorter and less painful recovery times
· Reduced risk in baby needing NICU attention
· Improved bonding with baby after birth
· Higher relationship satisfaction
· Better feelings about their bodies and abilities as a mother
· Higher rates in breastfeeding
